FixSignal terms of service

The public radar and access review are currently available without a paid commitment. A paid subscription begins only if FixSignal presents an enabled Stripe Checkout and you complete that Checkout.

Service operator

Acceptance and eligibility

By using FixSignal, you agree to these terms. The service is intended for business research and business-development use by adults who can form a binding agreement. If you use it for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization.

Independent information service

FixSignal organizes public property records for research and business-development workflows. It is not a government service, contractor, broker, legal service, engineering service or consumer reporting agency.

No guaranteed leads or jobs

A work signal is not an opt-in customer lead. FixSignal does not warrant that a property owner needs a particular service, is ready to hire, can be contacted lawfully or will purchase anything. Records may be delayed, incomplete, changed or misclassified.

User responsibilities

• Verify source status and scope before relying on a record.
• Follow licensing, permit, lead-safe, insurance and professional requirements.
• Comply with Do Not Call, TCPA, direct marketing, privacy and anti-harassment rules.
• Never imply City affiliation, enforcement authority or a threat of official action.
• Do not use FixSignal data for housing discrimination, tenant harassment or unlawful profiling.

Acceptable use

Automated scraping of FixSignal, reselling its normalized feed, bypassing access controls, disrupting the service or using it for deceptive outreach is prohibited. Access may be limited to protect the upstream public service and other users.

Payments and cancellation

Charges are stated in U.S. dollars. Before Stripe requests payment details, FixSignal presents the selected service, the amount charged now, the monthly billing frequency, the cancellation method and the deadline for preventing the next charge. Unless Checkout expressly states otherwise, there is no free trial. A paid subscription begins when the first payment succeeds and renews monthly at the accepted price until canceled. Monitoring delivery begins after the customer finishes the required trade-and-territory configuration.

Customers may cancel at any time through Customer account and Stripe's online billing portal, or by emailing support. A cancellation request received before the next renewal prevents the next recurring charge; access continues through the paid period. Partial months are not refunded except where required by law or where FixSignal confirms a duplicate, unauthorized or otherwise erroneous charge. FixSignal will provide notice before a material subscription change or price increase and will obtain additional consent where applicable law requires it.

Recurring-payment consent

The subscription review form requires the customer to accept the current version of these terms and authorize the displayed recurring charge before proceeding to Stripe. FixSignal records that terms version in the completed Checkout and subscription metadata. Completing Stripe Checkout confirms the selected plan, recurring billing authorization and billing address. A confirmation is sent to the Checkout email after a verified successful payment.

Taxes

Displayed plan prices exclude sales, use or similar taxes unless Checkout states otherwise. Applicable tax, when required, is calculated from the billing information and shown before payment. Customers are responsible for supplying an accurate billing address and tax information. FixSignal does not provide tax advice. Pricing displayed while paid Checkout is disabled is informational and may change before purchase.

Pilot delivery preferences

A coverage request does not automatically activate a morning digest. If you later accept pilot delivery, you may stop email or Telegram messages through the delivery-control page, by replying STOP or by contacting support. A valid signed link stops its selected delivery channel after confirmation. If no signed link is available, the manual form creates an operator task and clearly does not claim an immediate account change. Stopping a digest changes delivery preferences only and does not cancel a future paid subscription.

Coverage review results

FixSignal rechecks the selected service lane and area against the current server-side snapshot when an access request is submitted. A result may show useful live coverage, zero current matches, expansion interest outside the City of Syracuse product or a need for manual review. Counts change with the City source and do not guarantee a future record, lead or job. FixSignal should not recommend paid access when the current result is weak or cannot be verified.

Pilot scorecards

A founding-pilot recipient may receive an expiring review link. Scorecard answers should describe actual use and must not include private property-owner information. A review may be positive or negative, does not start billing and does not grant FixSignal permission to publish a testimonial. Any public case study or attributed quote requires a separate agreement.

Data and availability

The City source is authoritative. FixSignal may cache, normalize or temporarily replace unavailable live data with a clearly labeled fictional demo. FixSignal may change, suspend or discontinue features and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Accounts, access and termination

Paid customers access settings through a one-time link sent to the email associated with the verified Stripe subscription. You are responsible for information submitted through the access form, controlling that mailbox and signing out on shared devices. FixSignal rechecks subscription status before protected reads and changes. It may limit or terminate access for unlawful use, source abuse, nonpayment, security risk or material violation of these terms.

Disclaimers and limitation

FixSignal is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, FixSignal disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from a public record, missed opportunity, outreach decision or service interruption. Rights that cannot be waived under applicable law remain unaffected.

Changes and governing law

Material changes will be posted with a new update date. New York law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in New York unless applicable law requires otherwise.
